I drove my handicapped sister from Cold Spring to Williams Dingmann Funeral Home in St. Cloud to attend a viewing of her god-daughter. This family had previously lost another daughter and their grief was overwhelming. I was stunned at what I saw. This young woman was lying on blankets (the family had to provide) on a metal gurney. They did a poor makeup job on her, as bruises were still evident on her body. This was a very low income family who all they wanted was a dignified viewing for this loved one. With the hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of dollars they pull in from the dead, couldn't they have just this one time allowed them to use a casket. This business is abhorrent and disgusting.

My husband passed and we didn’t have cremation plans finalized. Williams-Dingmann staff came to the house, removed his body in a compassionate, professional manner and offered me good advice and great comfort. From Doug Dingmann, owner, to Denise in the office on the phone, I received exactly what I needed in a gentle, supportive manner from start to finish. The service provided and materials produced were spot-on. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for kindness and comfort following a loss, I would suggest coordinating with someone other than Williams Dingmann, unless you want to spend more time going over expenses and "this is how we normally do it" versus listening to and family wishes and requests.
