Michael was wonderful from the moment we walked into the door. My daughters and I was there to make arrangements for my husband. Micheal was welcoming, helpful and in no way did he high pressure us to buy anything. He was glad to show us whatever we wanted to see, he did not make us feel anything less than at home. It was very easy and comfortable to have Newcomer caring for my husband. I can’t thank Michael enough for his kindness and continual helpfulness. If I was asked I would give it a 10 in all areas from the beginning to the end. No mistake use Newcomer!

I am finally just now sitting down to express my gratitude for Greg and his staff at Newcomer Longwood. My husband passed late on Friday evening and he did not make me feel at all like I was bothering him by waking him up in the middle of the night. My husband passed at home and he explained everything that would be happening and that he would be waiting for my call after they released my husband. I met with Greg on Sunday to finalize arrangements. Once again this was after regular work hours and he welcomed my sister-in-law and me in with open arms. He didn't rush us and was so professional and nice in his demeanor and even chatted about cats since I am a cat lover. He explained everything thoroughly and even made some suggestions of what we could do to honor my husband and the choices we could have after his cremation. He loved sports and was a teacher so Greg showed alternatives to urns such as honoring him by placing his ashes in a football with his name or a beautiful apple shaped holder. I wish I did not have to meet Greg under these particular circumstances but I truly felt like he had been a family friend for years by the way he treated us and talked with us. I had originally had a different funeral home in mind because our family had used a different one before, but when I talked with Greg on the phone I agreed to use his home in Longwood and I don't regret that decision at all. Thank you Greg and Staff for the best experience to honor my husband and help me through a difficult time.
