We recently needed their services for a close family member. Many years ago we had a meeting to discuss these particular arrangements and pre-pay for the funeral as a part of nursing home placement. The promises they had made back then were all delivered, and more, with a large serving of empathy. From my professional capacity as an emergency physician I have needed to interact with a few funeral directors, and as with any profession there are some above and some below the average. The Healeys demonstrate everything one could want in these difficult circumstances: communication, organization, and above all else genuine compassion. They were so prompt picking up our loved one that they arrived before the nursing home staff got around to calling the family about the death. The next morning when we called the office, Patrick promptly drove to the house to meet with our family. Rosemarie, John, and Patrick (as well as the rest of their team) made sure that everything went smoothly. Death isn't fun, and I don't consider funerals to be so either. However, they made this so much less unpleasant. Anywhere that they could help us by doing something they did so, and for the rest they guided us along the proper path.

McCann- Healey Funeral Home just handled my Mom’s funeral yesterday. I am leaving this review today because I am so very appreciative & impressed by the fantastic job they performed. Patrick & John (the owners) treated me as Family. Every single detail was explained to me thoroughly and attended to by them seamlessly. Mom & I were extremely close, which made yesterday extraordinarily difficult for me. Patrick was there for every minute, advising & supporting me in every possible way. He took care of everything. I sincerely could not be more grateful to the Healey Family. Lastly, I honestly would have paid much more for the wonderful personal service I was provided. However Mom’s final expenses wound up being extremely reasonable. The pricing was very transparent & more than fair. In an industry often times clouded by emotion & confusion, I found McCann-Healey refreshingly honest & sincerely compassionate. I simply could not be more pleased nor can I recommend this establishment high enough.
