We first used maeder-quint when I was 9 years old to bury my father in 1998. It was within a couple days of Christmas and I remember them being so polite and fast so we didn't miss our Christmas. I am most recently using them to creamate close family. We are currently working together to fulfill the wishes of our lost loved ones and I just want to say they have been wonderful. Tom is super helpful and reassuring it really amazes me. I would recommend using maeder-quint very highly. They are very professional yet loving at the same time. The prices for their services have been decent. They are not cheap and not overpriced either. but you are definitely getting your money's worth and some more with their services. They become family. Highly recommended!

Everything from the time they took to help our family through this difficult time to every details was covered with compassion and support. They treat you like family. I felt it improper to force remaining family to quickly make lasting decisions in a stressful situation. I feel these people will carry out my final arrangements to the letter. They helped with legal requirements for transporting me from where ever I pass back to my home town in WVa. I paid a reasonable price for their services several years ago so no family member will get stuck for a major expense doing things I don’t want.

Working for a large funeral industry, I tend to be more attentive to details and procedures and my first impression when I saw how beautifully they displayed the personalized throw for my aunt and uncle I was quite pleased but later in the evening I left most agitated. The family lounge was located down the stairs which obviously meant my older relatives had to depend on others to bring up their sandwiches to a small table at the top of the stairs with no privacy. I could have overlooked that until the funeral attendant walked in to the Chapel at 6:30 to empty wastecans ( the visitation went til 7pm). At 6:50 the attendant came in and began vacuuming the chapel. In my corporation, our attendants would have received a written warning. Regardless of the time a visitation ends, care and sensitivity for a family's last goodbyes should NEVER end so abruptly..how very rude and cold. I would have expected a far different behavior from a family owned establishment...considering how much money is poured into this industry, a few extra minutes of respect is the very least of what a family can be given. I would have paid the attendant an extra hour's pay if he could have held off on his closing duties for the extra minutes this family deserved.
