My mother and I could not have asked for more professional, warm, and caring service than what we received at Greene Funeral Home after the passing of my father. Our funeral service consultant, Gene Marsh, assisted us in every way possible, answering every question, addressing every concern, and creating a seamless experience for us. Our extended family and friends who attended the service were so very impressed by the atmosphere and appearance of the facility on Ebenezer Road. The attendant who assisted with music and media during the service, Mr. Belk, coordinated with the family and was extremely helpful in working with us to create the presentation we wished to capture to remember my father’s life. The other attendants were also extremely kind and respectful, very helpful, and they made everyone who attended feel truly welcome. We felt not only the sense of care that was exuded by the staff, but also the thorough attention to detail in the planning of the service. Gene wasn’t very polite at all. Had several issues with him through out the entire process. This Establishment has been used for Generations in my family. Buddy was the best they ever had. When he was living things was run a lot different. This type of Establishment should be there for the family and not be caused the grief and rudeness that I was given by a Employee when I was having to lay my Mother to rest. There is Five of us Children and we all fill the same. Even one other staff members saw a issue I had with him night of visitation and made the remark she didn’t understand why I was being told what I was being told . A uncle of mine finally stepped in and went to Gene and got what I needed. I just wanted a receipt where we had just paid him over 10,000.00 dollars right before visitation started. I was told I would get it in a few weeks in follow up . My uncle informed him that we were not a custom to handing over that kind of money without a receipt he finally made a copy of the receipt. There was other issues also and issues with the follow up which was not a couple weeks it was a month. Then he still did not have the death certificates I had to make the call to the corners office to get them and he had them the next day.
