I was at Chapel of the Flowers the beginning of July for a service of a dear family member. Its sad to say that one miserable employee can affect the entire environment vibe and disrupt grieving and thats exactly what the employee by the name of NATURE did for me and after speaking to a few others within days of the service, it seems it wasnt just me that noticed her grumpy attitude, she definitely did not need to be working that day because from the very beginning of the service I noticed she wasn't very friendly, NATURE couldn't even respond to a thank you with a fake smile when I thanked her as I left the chapel. People pay thousands for a service and I would hope that good customer service would come with it, obviously not that day for NATURE. I have been to Chapel of the Flowers for a few services and unfortunately as long as I know this miserable person NATURE is employed there, I will not be referring anyone as I have in the past. Please do better NATURE.
They did not provide the 21 Gun Salute for my father who's a Vietnam veteran after we had a verbal contract. So much for honoring our Veterans and there family's. They didn't even notify us that they made a mistake and booked two military families and same time and Anthony said they had to prioritize, so my dad and our family was not a priority. They are quick to take your money and not follow through on families wishes for the dead.
My experience at Chapel of Flowers was well beyond what I was expecting. Doug was very helpful and timely in regards to a cremation. Thank you for making this painful process so easy and stress free. I would definitely recommend Chapel of Flowers to anyone needing this type of service. Everyone here was very kind and compassionate.
I was skeptical since the service package was most expensive than other local mortuaries I’ve inquired with. Emma was kind in welcoming us on the day of the wake. My mom was happy with the over all service. It was nice they brought out easels when needed to hang collages. I thought the make up was a lighter than my fathers actual skin tone. I don’t know embalming make up but I didn’t know it’s supposed to be cakey. The staff helping were in black tshirts, so people mistook my s/o as staff. Then I, daughter of the deceased was yelled at by one of the funeral staff. This was embarrassing and unnecessary even though you’re under pressure. A sign wouldve been helpful for that door and I was not told I couldn’t use that door. Superstitiously I’m not allowed to walk in and out of the front doors, so I didn’t have a choice at that moment. During the officiant’s liturgy I was headed back to the side door with my cousin, and significant other.Suddenly the funeral worker erupted at me saying No one was allowed to use the side door. Then he blasted at us because there was a van double parked in front of the coach he needed. Turned out that that van was the other corsage/pallbearer organizer’s van. What a way to treat the bereaved’s family for not knowing what’s going on, Chapel of Flowers. My other brother was actually regulating our guests from double parking in the lot around the chapel at the time
I've reached out to Sue S. and Chapel of Flowers for many years and have always received the utmost care and attention with final arrangements of my loved ones and in the capacity of my employment. The budgets I've had are mostly small and she always treats each situation with the care and attention one would expect with a large budget. I highly recommend Sue to all that are in need of kind, efficient, and compassionate service.
