Avenidas caught my eye because of all the places I looked up online, I liked how they POSTED the costs online so that you could choose on your own in a no-pressure way (perfect for someone like me who was researching in advance for a loved one on hospice). This gave me the impression of being straightforward and direct and less sales-y, which was exactly what I wanted. When I spoke to them on the phone when the time came, they were just like the good impression the straightforward pricing online made, meaning kind and straightforward, no weird hidden fees, no sales pitch, no weird upsell. I had dreaded the appointment in fear that I would get the "Are you sure your loved one wouldn't be more comfortable in [insert our most expensive item]?" kind of pitch. A+ experience. Everyone is kind without being saccharine or syrupy, I never felt like anyone was angling to take advantange of my grief.
